Welcome to ECE’s new tumbling program out of our North Reading Location! We are excited to be offering an expanded class schedule for all of our families in the area! Check back with us on a regular basis – our Tumbling Program is expanding, and our class offerings will be growing as the months progress.

Tiny Tumbling is open to athletes ages 4-6. All other classes are open to athletes Ages 7 & Up. All of our classes are charged on a monthly basis at $20 / class. Back Handspring

Tiny Tumbling

These classes are designed for athletes ages 3-6. All skill levels are welcome! Tiny Tumbling class will focus on the basics of tumbling for our youngest athletes!

Beginner

This class is for athletes new to tumbling.  The focus will be on developing entry Level 1 skills to include – cartwheels, round-offs, bridge kick overs and working up to back walkovers & back walkover series.  There is no prerequisite to join this class.

Level 2 Tumbling

This class will focus on all Level 2 Tumbling Skills to include – Standing and Running Back Handsprings, Combo Passes & Elite Level 2 skills.  This class is designed for athletes who have already developed entry Level 2 skills and are looking to perfect and enhance these skills.

Prerequisites: Must have standing back handspring and roundoff back handspring.

Level 3 Tumbling

This class is for students who have developed entry Level 3 tumbling and are looking to add to their skill set and enhance technique. Students will work on specialty passes to tuck, aerials, punch fronts, etc.

Prerequisites: Must have a roundoff back handspring tuck.

Level 4 Tumbling

The primary focus of this class will be to develop and perfect the layout.

Prerequisites: Solid round-off back handspring tuck.

Advanced Tumbling (L5/L6)

Athletes will work on twisting skills, specialty passes to twisting skills, and double fulls!

Prerequisites: Front Tuck, Standing Tuck, Standing Series Back Handsprings to Tuck, Running Tumbling Combinations through to Layout.

Tuck Class

This class is for strong Level 2 athletes looking to gain Level 3 skills.  The primary focus of the class will be to develop tuck skills including – round-off tuck, round-off backhandspring tuck & standing tuck.

Prerequisites: Solid standing and roundoff back handspring series.

Layouts and Fulls Class

This class is for strong Level 4 athletes looking to begin Level 5 skills.  The primary focus of this class will be to develop a roundoff back handspring full.

Prerequisites: Solid roundoff back handspring layout.

Back Handspring Class

Beginner BHS
This class is for strong Level 1 athletes looking to begin Level 2 skills. The primary focus of the class will be to develop a back handspring.

Prerequisites: Solid cartwheel, round-off and back walkover series.

Advanced BHS
This class is for students who are working back handsprings but do not yet have this skill on the spring floor alone.

Prerequisites: Back handspring alone on another piece of equipment (tumble trak, wedge, air trak).

Standing Tuck

This class is for strong Level 2&3 athletes looking to work on their standing tumbling to tuck.

Prerequisites: Solid standing & roundoff back handspring series, and roundoff back handspring tuck.

Open Gym

Our Open Gyms are open to both Non-ECE and ECE athletes of all skill levels! Our instructors will guide athletes through a warm-up and stretch, and allow them to use all equipment including Tumble Trak, Trampoline, Air Track, etc! Ages 7 & up.

Need To Cancel A Class?

Class Cancellation Policies

We understand that cancellations can occur due to schedule changes, conflicts, and illness. However, please adhere to the following policies:

  • Please cancel all class spots according to our 24-hour cancellation policy. Weekend and Monday classes must be canceled by 5:00 p.m. on Friday in order to avoid being responsible for the fee.
  • Cancelling for an illness in less than 24 hours requires a doctor’s note to avoid being responsible for the fee.
  • All cancellations MUST BE emailed to Frontdesk@ececheer.com – if you send it to another email or call, you will still be responsible for the fee.
  • When canceling a class spot, please include the athlete’s full name and the date and time of the class in the email.
  • If you cancel without 24 hours’ notice, you will still be responsible for the fee going onto your portal account.
